Morning clarity: what is on each truck

The expensive mistake is not always theft; it is sending a crew out without the camera, jetter, or threader because nobody knew it was still at the shop.

Typical truck inventory workflow

Admins set up items and locations, shop, yard, warehouse, and each van. Field crews see stock associated with their assigned vehicle and submit transfer requests when gear needs to move.

Admins review requests in the inventory module. New requests can email the office. This is operational visibility, not barcode scanning or full warehouse management.

Jetter on Truck 2, crew assigned to Truck 5

A plumbing dispatcher assumes the jetter is on the assigned van. The crew loses an hour returning to the yard.

Stock locations and transfer requests in CrewCommand show the jetter at the shop. A request the prior evening moves it to the right truck, with admin approval and an email trail.
