Revenue from paid & partially paid invoices

The problem

Why this usually fails

Without per-tech metrics, you cannot tell who is driving revenue or completing the most jobs. Guesswork and hallway conversations replace data. Manual spreadsheets take time to build and go stale. When there is no visibility by tech, coaching and accountability are based on anecdotes, not numbers.

Teams that grow need to know who is performing so they can reward, coach, and plan capacity. Without tech-level KPI, that conversation is incomplete.

Process

How it works

1

View tech list with metrics

The team list shows each technician with revenue and job counts for the selected period. You can switch between this month, last month, 90 days, 12 months, or a custom range.

2

Drill into detail

Click a tech to see their job history and revenue breakdown. Use this to understand performance and have data-backed conversations.

3

Use for coaching and capacity

Use the numbers to set expectations, recognize top performers, and decide where to add or shift capacity.

Product deep dive

01

Revenue per tech

Revenue is derived from paid and partially paid invoices so you see who is bringing in money. Periods are configurable so you can compare months or quarters.

02

Jobs completed per period

Job counts give you volume per tech. Combined with revenue, you see both volume and value.

03

No spreadsheets

KPI is built in. You do not export to Excel or maintain separate reports; the data lives with your jobs and invoices.

Growth Loop

What it is

Tech KPI and performance shows revenue and job counts per technician for configurable periods: this month, last month, 90 days, 12 months, or a custom range. You see who is driving results at a glance and can drill into each tech for job history and revenue breakdown. The data comes from your jobs and invoices so there is no separate spreadsheet to maintain.

Why it matters for your organization

Without per-tech visibility, coaching and capacity decisions are based on guesswork. Your organization benefits from knowing who completes the most jobs and who generates the most revenue so you can reward top performers, coach where needed, and plan hiring. Data-backed conversations improve accountability and help the team understand how their work ties to outcomes and to the Growth Loop.

How it works in the loop

Tech KPI is built from the same jobs and invoices that drive the Growth Loop. When techs complete jobs and customers pay, that activity shows up in both the loop (review and booking messages) and in tech performance. You can see which techs are completing jobs that then generate reviews and rebookings, so the loop and performance stay connected in one system.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I control permissions?
Yes. You get roles (owner, admin, dispatcher, technician) and seven granular permissions you can toggle per user (e.g. manage customers, view reports). You can also assign users to departments. So you decide who sees what without sharing one login.
  • Does it replace my current tools?
CrewCommand covers scheduling, dispatching, estimates, invoices, payments, customer portal, and automations. Many teams replace separate scheduling, invoicing, and booking tools. QuickBooks integration (Growth and Scale) keeps your books in sync. We don’t replace your accounting software; we plug into it.
  • Do you support multiple industries and workflows?
Yes. CrewCommand is used by plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drain, pest control, painting, and general home services. Pricebook templates and job types are trade-friendly. The same core (jobs, estimates, invoices, automations, review and booking) adapts to your workflow.
