SMS requires care. We build opt-out support and compliance guidance into the product. You remain responsible for complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction — we don't provide legal advice, but we make it easy to do the right thing.

  • Include opt-out instructions in your message templates (e.g. 'Reply STOP to opt out')
  • Respect opt-out requests — CrewCommand surfaces these in the customer record
  • Follow respectful frequency: don't text the same customer multiple times a day
  • For Canadian senders, CASL-aware guidance is built into our onboarding materials
  • You remain responsible for compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction

How SMS billing works

SMS is an add-on to your CrewCommand plan. It is not included in Core, Growth, or Scale pricing.

Billing may include a base add-on fee plus usage-based charges depending on volume and your SMS provider. We are transparent about costs when you enable SMS — no hidden per-message surprises at scale.
