The problem
Why this usually fails
Sending estimates and invoices as email attachments means customers have to open, download, and remember to reply. Separate portal logins create friction and support requests. Chasing signatures and payments by phone or email wastes time and delays cash flow.
When there is no single place for customers to view documents and pay, you lose track of who has signed or paid and spend time following up manually.
Process
How it works
Send the portal link
Each customer gets a secure token-based link. You send it from CrewCommand or include it in an automation. No password or account required on the customer side.
Customer views and signs
The customer opens the link, sees the estimate or invoice, and can accept or sign. They can also request service from the same portal so the loop stays in one place.
Payment when due
Invoices can include Stripe payment links so customers pay online. You see payment status in CrewCommand without switching to another system.

Token-based access
Each link is unique and tied to the customer and document. You can revoke or regenerate if needed. There is no shared login or password to manage.
Estimates and invoices in one place
Customers see the same portal for quotes and invoices. They can accept estimates and pay invoices without creating an account or leaving the flow.
Request service from the portal
Portal users can request follow-up service. That request flows into CrewCommand so you can create a job and keep the relationship in one system.
Growth Loop
What it is
The customer portal is a token-based, no-login experience where customers view estimates and invoices, accept and sign, and request service. Each customer gets a secure link tied to their record. They can pay invoices via Stripe payment links from the same place. There is no shared password or customer account to manage; you control who gets which link.
Why it matters for your organization
Email attachments and separate portal logins create friction and support load. Chasing signatures and payments by phone wastes time and delays cash flow. A single portal where customers view documents, sign, pay, and request service gives your organization faster turnaround, fewer missed payments, and one place to see status. Your team spends less time following up and more time running jobs.
How it works in the loop
The portal sits inside the Growth Loop. After you send an estimate or invoice link, the customer can sign and pay in the portal. From that same portal they can request follow-up service, which flows into CrewCommand as a booking request. Automations can include the portal link so one message drives both payment and the next booking. The loop from job to document to payment to rebook stays in one system.

Frequently asked questions
Does it replace my current tools?
CrewCommand covers scheduling, dispatching, estimates, invoices, payments, customer portal, and automations. Many teams replace separate scheduling, invoicing, and booking tools. QuickBooks integration (Growth and Scale) keeps your books in sync. We don’t replace your accounting software; we plug into it.How do reviews and booking work?
Review requests use a unique link per customer that lands on a simple page, then redirects to your Google review URL. You can track clicks. Public booking uses a /book/yourcompany-style page where anyone can submit a request (no login). Both {review_link} and {booking_link} are available in your automation templates so you can drop them into SMS and email.
